Las directrices candidatas se han publicado hoy, así como las pruebas que para alcanzar ese nivel se han llevado a cabo.

Los editores de las WCAG 2.0, han agradecido a la Directora de la Fundación Sidar la colaboración recibida y así lo han hecho constar en el texto del siguiente mensaje que publicamos en su idioma original, inglés:

We are excited to report that the WCAG 2.0 Proposed Recommendation has been published at http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/PR-WCAG20-20081103/. A major contributor to the approval to publish was the information in the Implementation Report[1]. Although we were not able to use all of the implementations that were offered to us, we have learned a great deal from everyone's efforts to apply WCAG 2 and share what they have learned.

Thank you for your help in advancing WCAG 2.0 to a W3C Proposed Recommendation. We are very happy with the high quality and diversity of the implementations submitted to demonstrate WCAG 2.0. For those of you who are with W3C Member organizations, you may want to bring the Advisory Committee review form to the attention of your Advisory Committee representative to W3C.
